Alexandra is a Florida native of the Tampa Bay area. She attended the University of Alabama as an honors student and member of the Blount Scholars Program, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science, and a minor in Spanish. She moved to North Carolina to attend Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was an Articles Editor for the Wake Forest Law Review and a part of the Appellate Advocacy Clinic. She was also an active member of the Public Interest Law Organization and the Latino Law Student Association. Following her graduation from Wake Forest, she worked as a family law associate in Winston-Salem before moving to Charlotte. Ali is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers of Charlotte. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, transcribing records for the National Archives, and spending time with her rescue dog, Attie.
