Partner Heather Culp has been named one of the 50 Most Influential Women of 2023 by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly and its sister publication The Mecklenburg Times. The award recognizes leaders whose influence is felt in business, government, legal, education, and the nonprofit sector.
Criteria for selection include professional achievements, community involvement, and a record of leadership.
Heather volunteers with Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy and Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc., handling cases for people who would otherwise be unable to afford an attorney. She chaired the 2018-2019 Access to Justice Campaign, which raised $500,000 in unrestricted funds to benefit these two pro bono agencies. The North Carolina Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Council awarded her its 2020 Pro Bono Service Award.
Heather has a long history of leadership in Charlotte’s legal community and has been recognized for her work by Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, Business North Carolina Legal Elite, the North Carolina Bar Association, and others.
